Mid Century 3.00 Carat Pear Shaped Opal Ring, circa 1950
A glorious opal with a quite arresting play of colours. You don’t often see pear shaped opals, and you almost never see once with as much life and intensity as this. Five double claws keep the opal snug with the whole piece set on a slim, split shouldered band. Utter, utter class.
Accompanied by an opal report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the opal shows no indications of treatment.
