Mid Century 3.00 Carat Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1945
A gorgeous vintage sapphire and diamond ring, crafted during or just after World War II. The dazzlingly bright blue sapphire in the centre is rubover and milgrain set in silver, and sits within what looks like an eight pronged star. The finely etched, milgrained and engraved surround features eight rose cut diamonds. On a slim rose gold shank.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire with rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to I.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 3.00 carat with a total diamond weight of approximately 0.30 carat.
Circa – 1945.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 9.4 x 7.5mm. The head of the ring is 20.25 x 18.4mm and sits 6.75mm from the finger.
