Mid Century 3.48 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1965

Ceylon sapphires don’t come nicer than this. The outstanding natural and unheated blue sapphire displays a bright and intense cornflower blue, the colour of white is emphasised by the surround of ten high white and clean round brilliant cut diamonds in the surround. The stone are secured in a white gold coronet setting, with striking fleur-de-lis detailing in the shoulders, to a slim and fluted yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory confirming the sapphire is natural and not heat treated.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The sapphire is a known 3.48 carat, with approximately 1.00 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1965.

Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 10.2 x 8.2mm. The head of the ring is 16.4 x 14.4 and sits 8.25mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. Tested.
