Mid Century 3.60 Carat Ruby & Diamond “Coiled Cobra” Ring, 18k Rose Gold, circa 1965

Boy, is this cool. A rose gold ring depicting, to our eyes, a stylised cobra. The snake’s “hood” is set with eleven single cut diamond in white gold while the “head” is represented by a deep blood-red oval cut ruby. The band is designed is such a way to make it look coiled around the finger – before the ring splits into three at the hood. A fantastic and daring design that we absolutely fell in love with.

Measurements – The ruby is 11mm by 9.5mm. The band is 4.7mm at the base, graduating to 14.75mm at the widest point. Sits 5.5mm from the finger
