Mid Century 3.81 Carat Sapphire & 1.25 Carat Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1955
A vintage sapphire and diamond ring that is as beautiful as it is bold. The sky blue sapphire in the centre is impressively bright and lively, and is flanked on either side by a pair of cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds. A further six (three each side) are set below each of the larger diamonds, leading to a nicely substantial yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire with old mine cut diamonds either side. The smaller diamonds are a mix of old mine cuts are eight-cuts.
Colour – The larger diamonds are G to I respectively. The smaller diamonds are G to J.
Clarity – The large diamonds are VS2 and SI2 respectively. The smaller diamonds are VS2 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphire is 3.81 carat. The total weight of the two larger diamonds is approximately 1.25 carat, with a further approximate 0.24 carat in the smaller diamonds.
Circa – 1955.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 10.5 x 8.2mm. The ring is 12.6mm at the widest point and sits 6.3mm from the finger.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. The internal sizing spring will be removed when the ring is altered.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. French hallmarks.
