Mid Century 4.19 Carat Natural Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1960
A seriously impressive natural sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The centre stone – certified as natural and unheated – is a glowing and bright light blue. The stone, rubover set in yellow gold, is surrounded by fourteen rose cut diamonds in platinum coronet settings. A further two rose cut diamonds are set in the shoulders of the 18k yellow gold D-shaped shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphire is 4.19 carat with approximately 0.34 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1960.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 11.1 x 8.8mm. The head of the ring is 18.1 x 14.4mm and sits 5.2mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow and platinum. Tested.
