Mid Century 4.23 Carat Natural Ruby & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1955

A glowing and dramatic ruby in the centre of the wonderful statement cluster ring. The natural and unheated oval shaped ruby is halo-ed by sixteen high white brilliant cut diamonds in white gold. The simple split gallery features subtle engraved detailing leading to a tapering D-shaped yellow gold band.

Accompanied by a report from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby is natural and without heating or treatment.

Cut – Oval shaped ruby and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are G to F.

Clarity – Some visible inclusions the ruby, which is common for this gemstone. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1 and clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The ruby is 4.23 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.12 carat.

Circa – 1955.

Size – Q 1/2 (UK) or 8.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 17.1mm by 14.8mm and sits 6.8mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
