Mid Century 4.35 Carat Sapphire & 1.06 Carat Diamond Brooch, circa 1950
A stunning and stunningly crafted sapphire and diamond brooch. Comprised of three flowers with five pear cut sapphire “petals” around a brilliant cut diamond bud, with four beautifully shaped diamond set leaves in the interweaved, and three baguette cut diamond stems. Although primarily a brooch, a hidden bale means this can be worn as a pendant.

Cut – Pear cut sapphire with round brilliant and baguette cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds range from G to J.
Clarity – The round diamonds are VS1 to SI1. The baguette cuts are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Total approximate sapphire weight of 4.35, with approximately 0.64 carat round brilliant cut diamonds and approximately 0.42 carat of baguette cut diamonds.
Circa – 1950.
Measurements – The brooch is 33.5 x 24.5mm.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
