Mid Century 4.14 Carat Green Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1965
A supremely bold green sapphire ring. The large, olive coloured centre stone is rubover set in yellow gold and flanked either side by a line of four white and bright round brilliant cut diamonds. The rectangular shaped head of the ring conforms to a wide and reverse tapering shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308566).
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 4.14 carat, with approximately 0.32 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1965.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 8.5 x 10.4mm. The ring is 14mm at the widest point and sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – 14k yellow gold. Tested.
