Mid Century 5.70 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1960

Spectacular. The natural, unheated Ceylon carat oval cut sapphire is mounted in the most beautiful of settings. The stunning and unique handmade mount holds twenty round brilliant cut diamonds and twenty-four baguette cuts in a criss-crossing design. The diamonds here are of the highest quality: colourless, bright and internally clean.. A high class, high quality statement piece.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire. The diamonds are baguette cuts and brilliant rounds.

Colour – Diamonds are E to F.

Clarity – VS. The sapphire and all the diamonds are clean and clear.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 5.70 carat. The total approximate diamonds weight is 1.09 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7 1/4 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down. Please contact us first about resizing as there is a limit to how much this can be adjusted due to the number of diamonds in the setting.

Measurements – The ring is 13mm at the widest point. The sapphire is 11.7  x 7 mm.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
