Mid Century 5.73 Carat Black Opal & Diamond Pendant, circa 1965
A stunning vintage black opal pendant. The cabochon stone has a strong, dark background hue and displays a lively play of colour. The opal is ever so slightly tear shaped, and is secured a fine handmade setting featuring twelve split claws. The top part of the pendant comprises of four high white brilliant cut diamonds in white gold, within a fluer de lis style setting, with yellow gold accents to a fixed yellow gold bale.
