Mid Century 50.00 Carat Synthetic Sapphire Pendant, circa 1960

Item #: 12AB1253.

A gargantuan and gorgeous synthetic sapphire pendant. The impressive cushion cut stone – conservatively gauged at 50 carat – displays a glowing cornflower blue. The stone is mounted in a custom made yellow gold collet with and secured by eight split claws.

Included is the original 18k yellow gold trace chain.

Cut – Cushion cut.

Carat – Approximately 50.00 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Measurements – The sapphire is 24.6 x 17.75mm. The stone is 17mm deep.

Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
