Mid Century 6.68 Carat Old Cut & Rose Cut Diamond “Wings” Earrings, French, circa 1960

Item #: 66AB1093.

A quite awesome pair of vintage diamond earrings. The top of the earrings features a French set diamond stud of approximately 0.50 carat (each side) from which drops the most flamboyantly crafted “wing.” The sweeping lower part of the earrings features a curved panel of twenty-one pavé set rose cut diamonds confirming into a wire spray studded with a further six rose cuts, with seven old cut diamonds at the bottom. A graduating line of seven large old cut diamonds border the outer edge, and add the opulence to these wonderful crafted, beautifully designed earrings.

Cut – Old mine cuts and rose cuts.

Colour – From H to J.

Clarity – From VS1 to SI2; all the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – Approximately 5.86 carat of old cuts, with approximately 0.82 carat of rose cuts.

Circa – 1960.

Measurements – The the top of the top diamond to the bottom of the drop is 57.25mm and are 25mm at the widest point.

Metal – 18k white gold and platinum. French hallmarks.
