Mid Century 7.05 Carat Natural Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Ring, circa 1965

Item #: 125AB1021.

A golden and glowing yellow sapphire takes centre stage in this exceptional ring. The natural, unheated Ceylon stone is secured atop wonderfully flamboyant white gold mounting featuring thirty white and clean eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slim split shoulder shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire with eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS. The sapphire is loupe clean.

Carat – The sapphire is a 7.05 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carat.

Circa – 1965.

Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 13.19 x 9.35mm. The ring is 18.5mm at the widest point and sits 10mm form the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
