Mid Century 9.02 Carat Natural Chrysoberyl Solitaire Ring, circa 1950
A startlingly beautiful chrysoberyl ring. The emerald cut centre stone displays a bright and lustrous greenish yellow and is secured in a four claw platinum collet. Twelve diamonds (six each side) are box and milgrain set in a step down formation leading to a substantial flat platinum shank.
Accompanied by a gemstone report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the chrysoberyl shows no indication of treatment.
Cut – Emerald cut chrysoberyl and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The chrysoberyl is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The chrysoberyl is 9.02 carat, with approximately 0.18 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1950.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 12.17 x 10.27mm and sits 7.75mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum.
