Mid Century Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring, French, circa 1960
Such a thrilling find. This quirky French stunners features a rubover set emerald in the centre which is flanked to the north and south by a pair of brilliant cut diamonds. The central three stones “float” within a shaped halo of fourteen eight cut diamonds. The wonderful handsawn gallery leads to fine yellow gold shank which splits at the shoulders.
Cut – Round cut emerald. The two central diamonds are round brilliant cuts with eight cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The emerald is included (which is common for emerald). The diamonds are VS1 in the centre and SI1 in the surround; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The emerald is approximately 0.25 carat. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.21 carat
Circa – 1960.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.5 x 9.5mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
