Mid Century Emerald & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1965

An exceptionally pretty vintage emerald and diamond ring. The emerald cut Colombian emerald in the centre is a glowing bright and verdant green, the colour of which is emphasised by the twelve high white old cut diamonds set in the surround. Fine crafted detailing in the gallery leads to a slim and tapering white gold shank.

Cut – Emerald cut emerald and old European cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity – The emerald is included (as is normal and expected of emeralds), the diamonds are VS1 to SI1.

Carat – The emerald is approximately 0.20 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.36 carat.

Circa – 1965.

Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Condition – Some of the rubover setting around the emerald had rubbed and worn away. This does not make the stone any less secure, however.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 9.5 x 8.9mm and sits 4.2mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold. The emerald is set in 18k yellow gold. Tested.
