Mid Century Natural Colour Change Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1950
A stunning natural colour change sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural and with no heat treatment – displays a bright lilac tone in incandescent light, and sky blue in natural light. A pair of round brilliant cut diamonds flank the sapphire, leading to marquise shaped detailing to a slim, knife edge shank. Truly special.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Madagascan in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 5.13 carat, with approximately 0.08 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1950.

Measurements – The sapphire is 10.22 x 8.49mm. Sits 8.8mm from the finger.
