Mid Century Old Cut Diamond & Emerald Cut Sapphire, circa 1965

Item #: 44MR02.

An arresting and architectural ring from the middle part of the last century. The central old cut diamond is extremely white and bright, which contrasts with the deep blue emerald cut sapphires either side. Sublte etching along the side of the flat gallery is a fine detail to a remarkable unique ring.

Cut – Old cut diamond and emerald cut sapphires.

Colour – The diamond is F.

Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye; VS1 to VS2

Carat – The diamond is approximately 0.25 carat, with approximately 1.00 carat of sapphires.

Circa – 1965.

Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 19.9mm by 5.8mm and sits 4.4mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. The diamond is set in 18k white gold. Stamped and tested.
