Mid Century Pearl Bracelet with Ruby & Diamond Clasp, circa 1970
Utterly, utterly fabulous. An incredible 374 pearls (the vast majority of which are natural, saltwater) which are well matched in terms of sizes and colour, are arranged in a flamboyantly arranged in seven interwoven rows. The white gold Art Deco style clasp is centred by a line of eight step-cut rubies which is accented by twenty-eight eight-cut and brilliant-cut high white diamonds.
Accompanied by a Pearl Report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating twenty-seven of the pearls are cultured and the remainder (three-hundred and forty-seven) are natural, saltwater.
Cut – Step cut rubies. The diamonds are a mix of eight-cuts and round brilliant-cuts.
Colour – Diamonds are F.
Clarity – All the stone are clean to the naked eye. VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The total approximate ruby weight is 1.20 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.72 carat.
Circa – 1970.
Measurements – The bracelet is 18.5cm long and 32.9mm wide.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
