Mid Century Ruby & Diamond “Feathers” Cocktail Ring, circa 1965

A wonderfully opulent cocktail ring. Topped with a rubover set diamond which is surrounded by six round rubies. Three levels of “feathers” cascade from the top; the central row is in white gold with each of the 16 feathers set with a small eight-cut diamond. The spray gallery leads to a “triple” band. The only thing missing here is a coupette of champagne.

Cut – Faceted round rubies and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – Approximately 0.37 carat of diamonds and 0.24 carat of rubies.

Circa – 1965.

Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.3mm by 16.3mm and sits 11.2mm from the finger.

Metal –18k gold. Tested.
