Mid Century Yellow Sapphire & Baguette Cut Diamond “Sunshine” Ring, circa 1970

A yellow sapphire and diamond ring that can’t help but make you smile. The natural sapphire in the centre displays a bight and strong orangey yellow, with twelve high white and internally clean baguette cut diamonds bursting from the centre stone. The gems sit atop a proud wire gallery, leading to a fine triple wire shank. Sunshine in a ring!

Cut – Round cut sapphire and baguette cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity – The sapphire is VS. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.48 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.67 carat.

Circa – 1970.

Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 7.2mm in diameter. The head of the ring is 19.8 x 20mm. Sits 10.5mm from the finger.
