Retro 1.02 Carat Round Brilliant Cut (& 0.90 Carat) Diamond Ring, circa 1945
An impressive and bold vintage engagement ring. The round brilliant cut diamond in the centre displays the softest, subtle champagne hue – the colour of which is emphasised by the high white diamonds in the shoulders. The centre stone is secured in an eight claw coronet collet which sits between wide, reverse taping shoulders set with four (two either side) chunky old European cut diamonds.

Cut – Transitional cut in the centre with old European cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – L in the centre with H to I in the shoulders.
Clarity – VS2 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Approximately 1.02 carat in the centre with a further approximate 0.90 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1945.

Measurements – The diamond is 6.65 x 6.65mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger
