Retro 1.20 Carat Old Cut Diamond & 0.57 Carat Emerald Ring, circa 1950
A vintage emerald and diamond ring that is as beautiful as it is unique. The old European cut diamond in the centre is glowingly white, internally clean and is flanked on either side by bright, blue-ish green Colombian emeralds. The edges of the wide, bombé shaped band are pavé set with ten (five each side) old cut diamonds, to a wide and reverse tapering yellow gold shank.

Cut – The centre diamond is an old European cut, with old mine cuts in the border. The emeralds are pear cuts.
Colour – The centre diamonds is H, with G to I colour diamonds in the border.
Clarity – The centre diamond is SI1. The diamonds in the border are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.52 carat, with a further approximate 0.68 carat in the border. The total approximate emerald weight is 0.57 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – From the tip of one emerald to the other is 15mm. The ring is 10.4mm at the widest point and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. French hallmarks.
