Retro 1.28 Carat Round Brilliant Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1940
An exquisitely crafted vintage diamond ring. The round brilliant cut in the centre – weighing approximately 1.28 carat – is bright and impressively lively. The stone is secured in a four square claws which sits in the centre of a vented gallery featuring flower detailing and a further two diamonds, leading to a slim, D-shaped white gold shank.

Cut – Round brilliant cut in the centre, with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – The centre is I. The diamonds in the shoulders are J to K.
Clarity – The centre is SI3. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The centre is approximately 1.28 carat, with a further approximate 0.08 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1940.
Size –L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre diamond is approximately 6.85 carat in diameter. The ring is 10.3mm at the widest point and sits 6.1mm from the finger.
Metal – 14k white gold. Tested.
