Retro 1.33 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
A sublime vintage diamond solitaire ring. The oval shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as I colour, VS2 clarity – is secured in a ten claw coronet collet. Six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds are box set in palladium settings and arranged in step-down formation, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a Natural Diamond Grading Report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182314).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the centre.
Colour – I (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (VS2 to SI2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 1.33 (with a further approximate 0.20 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1950.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 7.65 x 6.15mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in palladium. Tested.
