Retro 1.66 Carat Fancy Light Greenish Yellow Transitional Cut Bombé Ring, circa 1945
Big, bold, wonderfully unique and utterly stunning. The centre stone is a known 1.66 carat and displays glowing fancy greenish yellow hue. The centre is rubover set in 18k yellow gold and crowns a wonderfully crafted platinum mount. Finely pierced and milgrained in a swirling design, and studded with twenty-six rose cut diamonds.

Cut – Transitional brilliant cut in the centre, with rose cut diamonds in the mount.
Colour – The centre is fancy light greenish yellow. The rose cuts are F to H.
Clarity – SI1 in the centre. The roes cuts are SI1 to I1; all are eye clean.
Carat – A known 1.66 in the centre. The total approximate weight of the diamonds in the surround is 0.40 carat.
Circa – 1945.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. There is some limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us first if you would need this sized.
Measurements – The diamond, including the rubover setting, is 8mm in diameter. The ring is 13.8mm at the widest point and sits 7.7mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. The centre diamond is in 18k yellow gold. Tested.
