Retro 2.30 Carat Old Cut Diamond “Barrel” Bombé Cluster Ring, circa 1955
A big, brash and quite wonderful “triple” bombé cluster. In the centre is a rubover set old cut diamond which is internally clean and shows a warm, champagne hue. A further twenty diamonds are pave-set in the centre dome, with twenty-two (total) in the sides. Rose gold strips separate each cluster, with a wide a tapering rose gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – The larger centre diamond is N, with F to J colour diamonds in the surround.
Clarity – VS1 in the centre. The diamonds in the surround range from VS1 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.65 carat, with a further estimated 1.65 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1955.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring 24.3mm wide. The ring is 15mm at the widest point and sits 7.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold and platinum. Tested.
