Retro 11.00 Carat Star Sapphire & 1.04 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1950
One of the most awesome rings we’ve ever had the pleasure or marketing. The wonderfully chunky piece features a light, medium blue star sapphire which, in sunlight, displays a strong and clear asterism. The sapphire sits in a daringly shaped surround, with eighteen (nine each side) old cut diamonds of graduating size set in the high, platinum shoulders which are angled towards the centre stone, leading to a wide, chunky rose gold shank. Eccentric and so, so wonderful.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30307461).
