Retro 16.92 Carat Aquamarine & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1945
A mightily impressive vintage aquamarine in mightily impressive mount. The cool, bright blue aquamarine is rubover set in rose gold, with forty-two rose cut diamonds (set in silver) in the surround. The beautifully intricate pierced gallery leads to a sturdy D-shaped shank.

Cut – Oval cut aquamarine and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to J.
Clarity – The aquamarine is VVS. The diamonds are VS to I (all are clean to the naked eye).
Carat – The aquamarine is a known 16.92 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.33 carat.
Circa – 1945.
Condition – Two of the forty-two rose cut diamonds have been replaced with eight-cuts.
Size – R (UK) or 8 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 25.5 x 19.3mm. Sits 8.8mm from the finger.
Metal – The aquamarine is set in 14k rose gold. The shank and under-bezel is 14k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
