Retro 2.84 Carat Oval Cut Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1945

So elegant and stylish. The rich, navy blue sapphire takes centre stage in this most impressive of mounts. The high and rounded shoulders feature eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds, with large – almost industrial – over-sized round cheniers. The overall effect is dramatic, daring and very much of its time.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.

Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean with VS diamonds.

Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.84 carat, with an approximate total diamond 0.14 carat.

Circa – 1945.
