Retro 2.87 Carat Fancy Yellow & White Old Cut Cluster Ring, circa 1955

A vintage diamond cluster ring that displays unbelievable sparkle. The oval shape old mine cut diamond in the centre displays a strong, distinctive fancy yellow. A double halo of thirty-two white and bright old mine cut diamonds are pavé-set in platinum in the surround, highlighting the golden hue of the centre stone. The fine, sweeping design in the high gallery leads to a slim and simple D-shaped shank.

Cut – Old mine cuts.

Colour – Fancy yellow in the centre, with H to J white diamonds in the surround.

Clarity – SI2 in the centre. The diamonds in the surround are SI1 to SI2.

Carat – The centre is a known 1.27 carat, with a further approximate 1.60 carat in the surround.

Circa – 1955.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.25 x 14.6mm. Sits 8.4mm from the finger.

Size – Q (UK) or 8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – 18k white gold and platinum. Tested.
