Retro 4.00 Synthetic Purple Sapphire & Diamond Ring, dated 1942
A synthetic sapphire of a bright and vibrant purple is the centrepiece of this quite charming ring. The sapphire is flanked by a pair of high white (and natural) old cut diamonds. Although very showy, this sits nice and low to the finger making it a practical everyday wear.
An internal dedication still partially remains. “Don to […]” on one side and “30.5.42” on the other. Part of all of this can be removed if you prefer.
Cut – The round faceted sapphire is flanked by a pair of old cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The sapphire is flawless. The diamonds are VS1.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 4.00ct. The diamonds are approximately 0.15 carat each.
Dated – 1942.
Condition – The discolouration to the metal can be polished away if you prefer.
Measurements – The sapphire is 10.1mm in diameter and sits 5.7mm from the finger.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarked.
