Retro 4.50 Carat Natural Emerald Cut Natural Sapphire Ring, circa 1945

A wonderful light blue sapphire, showcased in a fine rose gold setting. The natural, unheated sapphire is safely secured by two wide claws at the north and south of the stone, with transitional cut diamonds set either side. The bold mount feature two exaggeratedly scrolling shoulders, leading to a flat graduating shank. An unabashedly bold and beautiful ring.

Cut – Emerald cut sapphire and transitional cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The sapphire is SI, with one faintly visible inclusion (this can be seen in the photos). The diamonds are VS1..

Carat – The sapphire is conservatively estimated at 4.5o carat. Each of the two diamonds are approximately 0.15 carat.

Circa – 1945.

Size – T (UK) or 9 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 11mm by 8.25mm and sits 7.25mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k rose gold. Tested.
