Retro 6.00 Carat Cabochon Colombian Emerald & Diamond Ring, circa 1945
A wonderfully grand piece. This impressive ring is crowned by a glowing green Colombian emerald, which is secured by ten claws atop the most impressive of mounts. Forty leafs – each set with an eight-cut diamond – cascade from the centre stone, leading to a substantial fluted shank. Beautifully, and generously, crafted.

Cut – Oval cabochon emerald and eight cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – There are visible inclusions in the emerald, which is normal and expected in emeralds. The diamonds are VS2 to SI2 (all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The emerald is approximately 6.00 carat, with an estimated diamond weight of 0.60 carat.
Circa – 1945.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The emerald is approximately 13.7mm by 10mm. The head of the ring is 21.8 x 20.7mm and sits 12.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
