Victorian 0.30 Carat Old Cut Diamond Double Serpent Ring, circa 1900
A very cool diamond serpent ring. Two snakes / serpents form a triple coil around the finger, with beautiful snakeskin etching and engraving on the top half of the ring. Each head is set with an old cut diamond; one with an (approx.) 0.20 carat stone, the other with an (approx.) 0.10 carat diamond. Just super.
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – I.
Clarity – The larger diamond is VS1, the smaller is SI2. Both are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The larger diamond is approximately 0.20 carat, the smaller is approximately 0.10 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Condition – The snake pattern is slightly rubbed on one side.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – 11mm at the widest point. Sits 4.85 from the finger.
Metal – 14k gold. Tested.
