Victorian 0.70 Carat Old Cut Diamond Double Serpent Ring, circa 1880
An incredible diamond serpent ring. Two snakes / serpents form a triple coil around the finger, with beautiful snakeskin etching and engraving on the top half of the ring. Each head is set with a bright and lively an old cut diamond of approximately 0.35 carat stone with small rose cut diamond set eyes.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308263).
Cut – Old mine cuts (with rose cut diamond eyes).
Colour – The main diamonds are I to J (with M to N colour in the eyes).
Clarity – The main diamonds are VS1 to VS2. (The rose cuts are included.)
Carat – Each of the main diamonds in approximately 0.35 carat (with a further approximate 0.02 carat of rose cuts).
Circa – 1880.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – 13.6mm at the widest point. Sits 5.5 from the finger.
Metal – 15k gold. Tested.
