Victorian 0.93 Carat Rose Cut Diamond Buckle, circa 1880
This very pretty Victorian buckle was probably originally threaded with silk as part of a collar necklace. With eighty-nine rose cut diamonds set a delicately and finely crafted foliate design, in oxidised silver backed in yellow gold. Can either be restored to a necklace or admired as an objet.
Cut – Rose cut diamonds.
Clarity – All the gems are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 0.93.
Circa – 1880.
Measurements – 43.1 x 27.4mm.
Metal – 9k gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
