Victorian 0.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Earrings, circa 1900
A delightful pair of antique diamond earrings. The four old mine cut diamonds are rubover set in oversize silver “balloon” settings, with smaller, slightly whiter diamonds set above a larger J colour stones. On rose gold lever-back fittings.
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – The top diamonds are H, the larger diamonds at the bottom are J.
Clarity – VS2 to SI1; all the stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat –Each the larger diamonds is approximately 0.25 carat, with a total approximate overall carat weight of 0.80.
Circa – 1900
Measurements – From the setting of the top diamond to the bottom on the earrings is 12.2mm. The earrings are 6.7mm at the widest point.
Metal – 14k rose gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
