Victorian 1.00 Carat Natural Ruby Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
A glorious Victorian ruby ring. The line of graduating line of natural, untreated rubies display the perfect red; deep and blood coloured with flashes of crimson. The stones set in a carved half hoop – the yellow of the 18k gold contrasting beautifully with the gems – with neat detailing on the shoulders leading to a slim, D-shaped shank.
Accompanied by a ruby report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory confirming the rubies are natural and not heat treated.
Cut – Cushion cuts.
Clarity – All the rubies are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre ruby is approximately 0.37 carat, with a total approximate weight of 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer ruby to the other is 15.8mm. The ring is 6.7mm at the widest point and sits 3mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT – 18k yellow gold – and tests as such.
