Victorian 1.00 Carat Rose Cut Diamond Necklace, circa 1870
A desperately pretty Victorian diamond pendant. At the bottom of the pendant is a pear rose cut diamond secured with unusual trefoil claws. The pear attaches to an articulated ‘Y’ shape, set with a further 9 rose cut diamonds. Highly detailed – and very, very beautiful.

Colour – The diamonds range from I to J.
Clarity – The pear cut diamond is I1 (but clean to the naked eye), the remaining diamonds are SI1 to SI2 – all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.75 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1870.
Measurements – Not including the chain, the pendant is 34.5mm. The total length of the chain is 16 inches.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
