Victorian 1.40 Carat Old Cut Diamond Target Cluster Ring, circa 1880
A sublime ring. The central cushion shaped old mine cut diamond is secured by ten fine rose gold claws, leading to a surround of twelve smaller old cut stone, all of which are set in oxidised silver. A finely pierced gallery leads to D-shaped rose gold shank. High class diamonds plus a high quality mount equals pure magnificence.
Cut – Old mine / miner cuts.
Colour – H in the centre and G in the surround.
Clarity – All the stones are very clean; VS1.
Carat – Approximately 0.80 in the centre, and an estimated overall weight of 1.40 carat.
Circa – 1880.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 11.9mm by 10.8mm and sits 6.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 14k gold and silver. Stamped and tested.
