Victorian 1.49 Carat Diamond & 2.88 Carat Sapphire Earrings, circa 1900
A frankly awesome pair of antique earrings. Each cluster is set with an (approx.) 0.65 carat old mine cut diamond at the centre, both extraordinarily white, bright and lively. Eight cornflower blue natural sapphires surround the centre stone in a fine, hand-pierced coronet setting with a smaller old cut diamond at the top.
Secured with lever back closures.
The original vintage earring box (pictured) is included with the sale.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30308695).
