Victorian 1.50 Carat Natural Burmese Ruby Solitaire Ring, circa 1900
A gorgeous natural, unheated Burmese ruby in a stunningly crafted late Victorian setting. The centre stone is a bright and lively slightly pinkish red, and is claw within an ornately and intricately carved rose gold setting. A highly impressive ruby solitaire.
Accompanied by a ruby report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut.
Clarity – Some inclusions in the ruby are visible to the naked eye (as is to be expected in rubies).
Carat – The ruby is approximately 1.50 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Size – W (UK) or 11 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The ruby is approximately 8.7 x 7.1mm. Sits 5.4mm from the finger.
