Victorian 1.65 Carat Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
To find one old cut diamond this white is rare; to find five is neigh on miraculous! The line of colourless stones graduate slightly, with an (approximate) 0.65 carat diamond in the centre. The diamonds are secured simple, carved mounting with an open gallery to allow maximum light to pass through the stones, to a tapering D-shaped yellow gold shank. Absolutely breathtaking.
