Victorian 1.95 Carat Natural Sapphire Five Stone Ring, dated 1893
A striking Victorian sapphire ring. The graduating line of natural, untreated sapphires are rich and deep blue. The stones set in a finely pierced half hoop – the yellow of the 18k gold contrasting beautifully with the gems – which sits nice and low to the finger.
With hallmarks from the Birmingham Assay, and date marks indicating 1893.
Accompanied by a Sapphire Report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory confirming the sapphires are natural and not heat treated.
Cut – Cushion cuts.
Clarity – All the sapphires are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre sapphire is approximately 0.45 carat, with a total approximate weight of 1.95 carat.
Dated – 1893.
Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer sapphire to the other is 18.5mm. The ring is 5.9mm at the widest point and sits 3.3mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Fully hallmarked.
