Victorian 10.46 Carat Rose Cut Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1880
Rose cut sapphires don’t come around very often, and when they do they are rarely as big and bold as this one. The large, off-round stone is set laterally on the finger in a very pretty eight claw collet with neat “S” detailing in the gallery, to a D-shaped silver shank. Hugely impressive.
