Victorian 2.00 Carat Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1890
Breathtaking. The central natural sapphire is perfect rich, royal blue with occasional flashes of violet. Surrounding the claw-set sapphire are 14 high white and exceptionally lively cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds. A further two diamonds sit atop the band which features subtle groove detailing. An absolute showstopper of a ring.
Cut – Mixed cut oval sapphire and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity – All the gems are clean. VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 2.00 carat, with an estimated total diamond weight of 1.28 carat.
Circa – 1890.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 18.5mm by 16.4mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
