Victorian 2.19 Carat Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1890
An outstanding oval shaped rose cut diamond, stunningly showcased in a closed-backed silver setting. We re-foiled this impressively large rose cut diamond, restoring it’s original glow. The centre stone is surrounded by twenty three eight-cut diamond in cluster which sits nice and low on the finger. The band splits at the shoulder and leads to a slim, fluted shank. An impressive one of a kind.
Cut – Rose cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders and surround.
Colour – The centre stone is K. The diamonds in the surround are G.
Clarity – The centre is SI2. The diamonds in the surrounds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is a known 2.19 carat. The diamonds in the surround come to an estimated total of 0.50 carat.
Circa – 1890.
Size – R (UK) or 8 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 17.3 x 13.3mm. Sits 8.1mm from the finger.
Metal – The head of the ring is silver, with the shank and the metal around the centre stone in 9k gold. Tested.
