Victorian 2.29 Carat Ruby & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1900
A charming antique ruby ring. The centre stone displays a bright pinkish red and is surrounded by border of nineteen rose cut diamond in cut-away settings. Finely hand-sawn ‘U’ detailing in the gallery leads to a nicely chunky D-shaped yellow gold shank, with fluer-de-lis detailing within the split shoulders.

Cut – Cushion cut ruby and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds range from J to K.
Clarity – The diamonds are I1 to I2.
Carat – The ruby is approximately 2.29 carat, with approximately 0.40 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 14.5 x 10.1mm. Sits 4.75mm from the finger.
Size – G 1/2 (UK) or 3 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold – and tests as such.
